A Toronto-based writer and performer known for his unique and thought-provoking creations, David writes and performs much of his own work; stage works include Wingéd, Cordelia (with Ryan Kelly), The Dead Sea (with Sonia Mills), Murdering Godot, Keyed, the Canadian Comedy award nominated Things Under the Bed, the Dora-nominated The Gorgonetrevich Corps de Ballet Nationale in ‘Bethany’s Gate’ (with Diana Kolpak), and The Life and Crimes of Edword Pee.

David has appeared in Hope Thompson’s She Walks the Line and Tyrolia, Toronto Masque Theatre’s The Tears of a Clown, and Sky Gilbert’s Rope Enough and Happy. He is one half of the manic Canadian Comedy Award nominated sketch duo GLYPH (with Lex Vaughn), who has played to standing room only crowds from Vancouver’s Sketchfest to Toronto’s We’re Funny That Way to Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival. He is also a member of Cordelia (with Ryan Kelly). Always popular on the Toronto cabaret circuit, David has performed at pandemonium machine, The Keith Cole Experience, Cheap Queers, Homo Night in Canada, The S.P.A.C.E., The Toronto Festival of Clowns, and Lunacy Cabaret. Media performance credits include the feature film Grey Gardens, the short film Trailing Arbutus, and the television series Howie Do It, Beautiful People, Train 48, Queer As Folk, and The Newsroom.

David is a writer of feature films (Igoera,Ghosting the Depths, We Are Family, The Maids, Fest) and television (Smarter Than You). He also wrote for and performed in Matt Watts’ hit radio drama Canadia.
